Scuto

Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 November 2026

Scuto is a personal logging tool for people taking GLP-1 medication. In short: there is no account, Scuto has no server of its own, and what you log stays on your iPhone.

Who we are

Scuto is made by Yalçın Arslan, an independent developer, who is the data controller for the little information described below. Contact: dev@yalcinarslan.com.

What you log stays on your iPhone

Your medication, schedule, doses, injection sites, side effects, weight, protein, fiber, water, goals and notes are saved only on your iPhone, inside the app. We never receive them. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and Scuto does not ask to track you.

Subscriptions

Apple handles payment; we never see your card or your Apple Account. To know whether Premium is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random ID made by the app (not your name or email), your purchase and renewal records from Apple, your device's language region and currency, and the IP address that any internet connection carries. It receives none of your health log. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

How long data is kept

Your log stays on your iPhone until you delete it or the app. Deleting the app deletes the log, so save a copy first if you want to keep it. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies.

Your rights

You can see, change and delete your log in the app at any time. If you are in the UK, you have rights under UK data protection law, including access and erasure. Write to us for anything about the subscription records, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Adults only

Scuto is meant for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.

Scuto is a personal logging tool, not medical advice. Follow your prescription and check with your doctor before making medical decisions.
